Daily readiness
How they slept, before you load them.
Each morning the athlete answers a short check-in: sleep, sleep quality, soreness, mood, notes. HRV, resting heart rate and sleep can arrive on their own from intervals.icu, Garmin, Apple Health or Health Connect. You see the last seven days on the athlete's page, and the progression suggestions read it before proposing the next load.

LoadoutWellness data from the watch or phone fills in the objective fields
Subjective and objective, side by side
Sleep quality, soreness and mood come from the athlete in a few taps. HRV, resting heart rate and sleep hours can come from their watch or phone. Automatic data fills only the objective fields; it never overwrites what the athlete told you.
Readiness informs, the coach decides
On Loadout the readiness data sits next to the programme, where you make decisions. When you ask for a progression suggestion on an exercise, the last seven days of check-ins are part of what it reads, so a run of poor nights shows up in the proposal and the rationale.
Nothing changes the session behind your back. On the coach product you stay the one who scales, swaps or rests a session.
Automatic adjustment, where there is no coach
Loadout Solo, the self-coached version of the same platform, goes a step further: when the morning score is low it proposes one change (scale the loads, swap with an easier day, or rest) that the athlete accepts or dismisses. On the coach product that decision stays with you.
Questions.
Does Loadout change my athlete's session when they slept badly?
Not on the coach product. You see the check-ins and the progression suggestions account for them, and you decide. Automatic proposals run only in Loadout Solo, where there is no coach.
Do athletes need a watch for readiness?
No. The check-in works on its own in a few taps. A watch or phone adds HRV, resting heart rate and sleep automatically.
