Sessions on the watch
The session on their wrist. The result back on its own.
When an athlete connects Garmin or intervals.icu, every cardio session you write goes to their calendar as a structured workout: warm-up, each rep, each recovery, cool-down, with the targets you set. When they finish, the activity comes back and completes the session. Nobody types anything.

Push: from your builder to their watch
Sessions are mirrored to Garmin directly, and to intervals.icu, which forwards structured workouts on to Garmin, Wahoo and Zwift. Edits and reschedules are sent again automatically. If a step cannot be expressed on a device, it is sent as an open step carrying your words rather than dropped.
The athlete can also send a session again from their app with one tap, and you can see the push status of each session in the builder.
Pull: from their watch to the session
Activities come back from Garmin, Strava, intervals.icu, Apple Health and Health Connect, or from a TCX file uploaded by hand. When an activity lands on the same day as a prescribed cardio session, it completes that session with the distance, duration and heart rate it recorded.
If it matched the wrong session, the athlete can reassign it. If they have no connected watch, the session can still be logged by hand.
History on day one
When an athlete connects intervals.icu, Strava or Garmin, their past activities can be imported, a year by default. You start with what they have actually been doing, not just what they remember.
Questions.
Which watches are supported?
Sessions are pushed to Garmin and to intervals.icu, which forwards them to Garmin, Wahoo and Zwift. Activities come back from Garmin, Strava, intervals.icu, Apple Health and Health Connect, and a TCX file can be uploaded by hand.
Does the athlete have to log cardio?
No, when a watch is connected. The activity completes the matching session on its own. Without a connected watch, they log it in the app or upload the file.
What happens when I edit a session that is already on the watch?
It is sent again with the change. Moving a session to another day moves it on the watch calendar too.
